International Construction Equipment Inc. began in Matthews, North Carolina, USA, in 1974 and has brought a number of innovations to the global market place. The company grew quickly and expanded into Europe in the late seventies. The resulting sister company coexisted for a number of years until ownership changed in the European company, leading both companies to follow different paths. As a result, International Construction Equipment Inc. pursued growth and technological leadership in North America, South America, and Asia and became a global leader in the foundation business. In fact, the green equipment has become the iCON® of the foundation industry. International Construction Equipment Inc. has partnered with Hycos to become the leader in the European foundation industry with the launch of the new iCON® Foundation Equipment company - The iCON® of the foundation industry since 1974. Based in the Netherlands and serving customers around the globe, Hycos is one of the leading manufacturers of hydraulic systems and controls. Hycos has years of specialized experience with diesel driven power units and hydraulic controls, both of which are key to making a Vibratory Driver/ Extractor work more effectively.

With the combined experience of these two companies, iCON® is now ready to fully service European customers with our revolutionary zero resonance vibratory hammer line, the most reliable and cost effective product available. Competitors Resonance Free (RF) technology, much appreciated in densely populated Western Europe, has caused tremendous growth in the vibratory hammer market, but has also introduced high costs due to frequent hammer breakdowns, many resulting in great costs and job delays.

International Construction Equipment has developed a Resonance Free or Zero Resonance (ZR) product that has greatly reduced the number of critical components and as a result has developed the most reliable and cost effective product available.At last, the reliability of a conventional hammer is available in a zero resonance design.
